Average cost of food and drinks.

Hi, am about to go to Icmeler in August (can't wait after looking at forum). Anyway, just wondering what the average cost of eating out is over there. We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 children - aged 9 adn 7), self catering so will probably be eating breakfast and evening meal plus a few drinks.
As a comparison, we have recently been to Mallorca where we ended up spending about 100 Euros a night on food and drink and whilst the food was good, felt it a bit expensive just for four of us.

Whilst on the subject of evenings - is there a few places that you can take children at night where they wont get bored?

And finally, (for my boyfriend) does anyone know where he can watch the Everton games on Sat. TV?

Thanks.

Jane.

Hi Mully welcome to the forum i'm sure you will enjoy Icmeler, you will pay about 14-15ytl for a chicken dish or 17-20ytl for a steak, 3-4 for a beer and 5 for soft drinks if the kids go for a burger or similar it's about 7ytl or large pizza 11-13ytl the exchange rate is roughly 2.60ytl to the pound

Hi Bec, thanks for that - I'm sure he will suss it out! - anyway 100 Euros is about £70. That was for 4 meals, a few pints and a loads of wine!
What about the kids - can you take them in most bars?
Jane :)

Hi Jane

We go in Aug to and have been going for the last 5 years we have two kids aged 12 and 9 and all the bars will let them in they are great with them.

The kids love it as they can play on the playstations or pool table and as long as your having a drink or a meal most of them do not charge your kids will have a great time.

Thanks everyone for replies. Not usually so bothered about where we go on holiday but had a bad time in Tenerife at Christmas and don't want to repeat experience! Aside from everything that happened to us, it wasn't for us. There was nothing for the kids to do in the evening. We didn't particularly enjoy any of the meals etc. so glad to get back. I am sure Icmeler will not be like that - already feel like we will enjoy it.
Thanks - Jane. :D
