hi my friend. just got back about a fortnight ago. i can assure you its the best place ever for a holiday. you got the lovely beaches, the views of the mountains, everything you could possibly want. As for apartments. I dont really know many, apart from the one I went to Im only 14 you see haha. The best places for food are in my opinion, Three Bells, Red lion and the Chef. All of these places have great entertainment later on at night. About 10 -11. The entertianment is very amusing and the waiters to get you to join in which is fun. The only bad thing I could say about Icmeler is the people standing outside the restaraunt trying to get you in the restaraunt when you don't really want to in that particular restaraunt. I also recommend the Kontes bar, if you are at the beach, its the easiest one to get too. Also if you want a romantic dinner, the Love Boat is the place for you.

Hope this helped :P.

We are heading out to 'paradise' on 1st October. This is normally the time of year we go & you have nothing to worry about as far as the weather goes! In the 4 years we have gone we have had 1 day with rain and it only lasted about an hour then back to glorious sunshine again. Still very hot at that time too.

Hi Sezlou,
I know people who go end of Sept/end of October and they've never complained about the weather - came back with a tan too. Having just come back, I can say end of June through July and august is just too hot - especially if you're there for just one week - by the time you acclimatise yourself you've back home.

Icmeler is large enough to give a good range of accommodation and entertainment but small enough to get around and find your bearings. I have stayed all inclusive, B&B and self catering - by far I prefer self catering. I would advise you to look on the ICR home page at the apartments and take notice of the distance to the centre and to the beach. I love old village but this is a good 10min walk (even further for some apartments) to the centre, great if you like walking (and can walk back home at night!) I stayed at Daystar in Old Village - great place. I've just come back from Mitos which is on the canal. Oh and by the way - this isn't a canal as we'd know it here - very pretty and lively but not too noisy. I will send you a private message - check the top of the screen!

Hi sezlou

We always go to Icmeler at the end Sept/Oct, and the weather is fantastic - just right infact. It's still hot, but not that hot that you fry (as in July/Aug). I get the best tan ever when I go at that time of year, as you can stay out in it longer.

Hope you book it as I can honestly say that you will enjoy Icmeler like no other place on earth, and you will return time and time again - like us lot on this forum :D
