Yusef & Andre

Postby redrhino12 » 10 Jul 2007 10:59

This was taken last year in the Lion Bar,now named Half Moon.
It is Yusef one of the waiters who this year is serving his national service, and Andre my grandson he was 10 when this was taken,
some of you may recognise him.
I think the video was taken by our good friends Martin and Barbara.

Notice Anns rose on the table in the foreground.
Love still lives after 40 odd years.
Thanks to Bec for giving me the link.

Hi Rhino what a great little dancer your Grandson Andre is!! its a shame the Lion bar has no entertainment they were wonderful. When we were there a couple of weeks ago the place was really quiet  i missed the buzz of the music when we walked back to our hotel.
The new guy there was very pleasant stopping us for a chat, i wanted to say to him " get the guys back and you will be busier". I hope trade picks up for him soon or it won't be lasting very long....good luck to him :D
I'm sure Andre would be happy to perform

Its not like me to blow my own trumpet but when I was younger I did the meanest "Polly Glide" you ever saw.
I have won prizes for the Spot Waltz.
And people have said I was the biggest "Twister" in Derbyshire.

With a grandad like me to teach him he doesnt need lessons, but Andre insists he goes to breakdance classes every Saturday for three hours.

To be able to dance you must have rhythm and co-ordination.
You want to see me after a gallon of Efes.

Rhino Music and dancing has always been a HUGE part of my life and still is :D I hear music .... i have to dance! My daughter has danced since the age of 5 and at 23 still performs at our local theatre, how proud i am when i watch her. The day i stop dancing is the day i am no longer able to, so i guess i still have a few years left

Its wonderful Andre has an interest he looks a natural. We wanted to go over the road to the Amour as we stay at the Elif but as we hadn't stayed for an evening at the Elif we didn't like to upset the guys. Next visit we will definately be there strutting our funky stuff
