Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi guys!

I have just booked a holidat from ****** Holidays. I got a great deal for me and my girlfriend to go for 2 weeks, i was wondering if someone called help me out as i have never done a holiday like this before. I dont have transport from airport to the apartments which is located in the old town of Icmeler i am flying to Dalaman air port any idea on how much this would cost in a Taxi? or do you think its worth booking a bus? if the different between these 2 is only £10 then i would rather catch a Taxi. Also has anyone stayed in the Alder Apartments in Icmeler? Food and Drinks what the prices now days as i havent been to Turkey for a good 4 years and i can see the currience has dropped in price because the last time i went it was £1 for 1 Million Turkish Lira. I would appreicate if you could answer all of these question or even one. Just one more question i am going on the 31st August is this a cooler time or does the weather still reach 35 - 40 ?

Hi Grant welcome to the forum I think a taxi from the airport to Icmeler is about £55-£60 each way, you could book return tranfers from ICR which will cost you £90 return for the 2 of you http://www.icmeleronline.com/icmeler_ai ... nsfers.php . The exchange rate is about 2.60 lire to the pound in most of the shops at the moment and a efes will cost 3-3.5 lire, not sure about the price of a steak as I don't eat them. as for the Alder apartments if you do a search there are prenty of reviews on this forum

Sorry to keep bringing this up as i know people proble have read this thread already but does anyone know where the Alder Apartments are situated? and is they much round them such as resturantes and bars? I have read really good reviews on these apartments but i was'nt some more from this year?

Is it deffo the Alder not the Adler? Sorry to sound dim just can't find any reviews for Alder.
