Hi,
Im just wondering do the clothes in the market actually resemble our UK sizes? I didnt buy any last year as i thought i was too fat and didnt wanna be embarrassed trying them on for them not to fit or to waste money on stuff that was too small. Anyway ive since lost over 2 stone so would like to buy some but im curious if the sizes are what they say they are?

We have bought clothes from all over
Icmeler and we find that the sizes are smaller, compared to here. eg medium size shirt there would just fit on a person who is classed as a small here. However there is no problem what so every, trying on the clothes before you buy. They we help you. Well done on your new look, have fun shopping. Would also recommend Metropol clothes shop no hassle plus nice guy's there, plus changing rooms available. This shop is next door to the Set resturant. Opposite Pleasure Night club. Also there is a very nice ladies clothes shop right opposite Metropol, cross the road walk down some steps as the shop is below road level. My wife got some lovelly clothes from there 2 years ago and still look like new.

I would agree aboutt he sizes they are smaller over there, so get the next size up from what you are depending on the material! I would also agree about the metropol they are lovely guys there and theres no hassle whats so ever they dont even follow you round the shop - i was completely amazed. I do always seem to go back to the same shop all the time though even if its to buy one thing. This shop is called ali babas and is situated next to wonderboys restaurant along the main dolmus round heading down towards the beach. Have a look the guy is really nice there!

My daughter buys cothes regularly - a size 12 here, she gets the next size up in icmeler. When I've bought tops for my sons, I get a large or extra large - so again a size up. You could ask the shopkeeper if they have a conversion chart. There is one at the Metropol shop - and I agree about the service in there: the owner Tahir is very good. I think the only real way is to try clothes on - most shops have a place - or a convenient curtain to hide behind.

Hi Fee,Fee
you can get xxl for men some shops have been selling things up to 5xl but you dont get the choice you do on the smaller stuff.
For women there are a couple of shops sell bigger sizes but I've never really seen anything I would buy.

its near bar street the side nearest the sea you dont go into the bizzare its round the corner from it.
Sorry typical woman not very good at directions
They only do the light cotton style ones very cool for holidays not designer fakes incase that was what your looking for.

Beware though, I have bought jeans every time I have been in Icmeler, but due to the heat I think I have been a little bloated (and due to food and drink!!), and then find that the jeans are too big once I am home.
