Another Wonderful Holiday in Icmeler

Have to say another wonderful holiday under our belt in Icmeler after our rather false start at the beginning!!! When we returned back to our apartment all the others cheered and couldnt stop laughing as they really didnt think we would come back, how wrong they were!

It is quite quiet in Icmeler it has to be said and all the restaurants we ate in are half full even less all of the time. This doesnt stop the entertainment though and weve had a wonderful time.

We visited a mosque this time and a school and a real Turkish family's home which was wonderful. Other days were spent on the beautiful beach and you must look out at 2pm for the white ducks. A mammy duck and her 3 babies oh it did make me smile! If you feed them make your pieces of bread tiny so they can swallow them and they will happily come ashore next to you. Even the waiters from the bars will come down with a bucket of clean water for them to have a drink.

We will miss Icmeler next year were off to India but we will be sure to return back one day to see these beautiful people once again.

Ahhh Alison so glad you got to have some holiday and enjoy it after your false start.

How did the ducks get to Icmeler, did they take a wrong turn? Oh god hope they don't end up on some ones plate

Ive no idea where the ducks came from but they sure made everyone on the beach laugh!!

If anyone sees duck on the menu in any restaurant dont buy it!!!!
