It holds just under a litre Charlie, but they never filled it to the brim, always gave me a decent head on it though.

Those glasses I only saw in the Amor Bar.
I didnt need to go to the bar to many times.

You may not have had to visit the bar many times, Gene, but I bet
you had to visit the little boys room a few times after drinking that lot!!!!

No one in Icmeler would use tap water to make ice.

They either buy the water in in large quantities and make their own with ice machines or do what the majority of places do and buy the ice in bags like people do in the UK

Dont let subzi put anyone off drinking their booze without ice as what he said is another one of the urban myths that gets passed about

I think John gave me a bottle of that new beer in the Famous one night to try.
I found it quite nice, normally I cant drink bottle but John said it was free
so then I enjoyed it more.

romanticandi,
dont lets go there,I am running backwards and forewords all night.
Our friends Martin and Barbara have even videod me as they thought it was so funny.
I put it down to old age.

I love Efes and I even drink it back here in Newcastle, Costco do a case of 24 bottles for £10.99, Bargain!

I know you can get Efes dark in some of the bars in Icmeler, has anyone tried that? Its definately more of a beer than a lager.

I personally prefer the bottles, try Efes Dark, it's a bit stronger than the Pilsner. It certainly has a bit of a kick to it !!!!!! :D

The tap water is safe to drink in Icmeler, it just contains more minerals than what wer'e used to and I think its chlorinated as well, and in any case you'd be more at risk from the iced glasses than from ice cubes.
