There is a Tansas in Marmaris which is a lot bigger than the one in Icmeler of what I remember.

I think it has two floors.

Tansas in Marmaris is huge, and there's also a big Migros (think they're still called Migros!) Turkish equivalent of Tescos anyway. The Tansas in Icmeler is perfectly good for any bits and pieces you want to get.

They are going to be building a Tesco store just outside of Marmaris, not sure when they estimate it'll be open, maybe it'll be ready for next year?

The Tansas in Icmeler is just what you want, and with your time saved shopping,
Just spend on the beach.

The new Tesco store opening in Marmaris (well just on the edge near Armutalan) has already started being built! Its being built near the Tespo store which is near my friends house. I know its not going to be called Tesco but cant remember as i think its the turkish word for it, but i dont know.

If you get the Dolmus from Icmeler to Marmaris there is a stop outside of the Tansas where the bus station is.

i love shopping in supermarkets on holiday its better when its really hot and the que is massive can anyone tell me when the new kwik save hypermarket is opening in gumbet cant wait for the four hour bus journey there and back -i need a pint of fresh milk in the morning

but a photo of milk???!!!
but at least its turkish-funny how you miss everything even the tansas shopping-trying to work out what things are with limited turkish!!!

In Hisaranou there is actually a store just like Tansas called Azda (with a Z). Just thought I would share that.

I have been informed that the new big supermarket that is owned by tesco and is situated in marmaris, has now opened. Apparently it was really packed and the turkish are just as bad as the english when it came to this hehe
