newbie hi....just booked...

Postby nuggs » 13 Jun 2007 13:58

hi just booked a late deal to icmeler staying at the sun apartments(anyone stayed there?)going on the 28th june for 1 week never been to icmeler before or in fact turkey!! lol anyway been reading a few posts and it seems like this is the place to go as everyone seems to really enjoy themselves.
im taking my daughter(14) son(3) o and the wife(30) by reading the posts i know the female members of my little party are gonna enjoy themselves.
regarding son is there plenty for him to do eg...is he too young for the jeep safari, boat trips etc...also im a bit concerned about it maybe being to hot for him anyway really looking forward to it and if its as good as you all say im not gonna be disappointed it does sound to good to be true though lol.....ermm you all not on commission are ya? lol

Seriously, you and the kids will love it!

I have been to all of the canaries, majorca, ibiza, crete...and Icmeler beats them all hands down! Only the Maldives scores higher on my holiday ratings than my home away from home!

The locals are so friendly, the atmosphere of the town is amazing, and its just altogether a nice place to be!

Not sure where the Sun Apartments are, but there are various playparks dotted around the town, there was one right next to the Daystar Apartments which the kids made use of when we were there. But the locals will make sure your wee boy is well looked after!

Just go, have fun and make us all jealous when you come back with your stories! I guarantee you will want to go straight back again!

Hi Nuggs, suppose i'm a bit bias as me and the other half have been to Turkey 10 times, 5 times to Icmeler, and we would not really consider going anywere else. Already been once this year and going back in July. Don't know about a jeep safari for a 3 year old as it is a long hot day in the sun and it can be quite a bummpy ride at times, but don't worry there is always plenty to help keep the little ones entertained not least the all singing all dancing waiters.

icmeler addiction!

Postby dee » 15 Jun 2007 23:36

My friend and I first went to Icmeler 6 years ago and we've been going back ever since 2 or 3 times a year! In fact I now live here! So I'm sure you and your family will have a fabulous time, its a great place for all ages! If you're in the old village pop in to Mr Chef and say hello! I'm around every evening but as Gene (redrhino) will agree I don't do early mornings! I wasn't there at 8am when he took the pic of Mr Chef!

Yes but Dee ypu where there at 1 oclosk when I called in for my Breakfast/Lunch with the family.
Andre still cant get over all those magic tricks the waiter shown him(sorry forgot his name, but they never forget ours).

I had the traditional Turkish breakfast of Egg Beans & Chips  sorry I am not very adventerouse in my eating habits but it was lovely.
Mr Chef is only a few mniutes from the Sun Aparts and Mr Chef is only 10mins to the edge of town.
