Hi redmanc
Yes the Magic Garden is still open, I spent quite a bit of time there when I was in
Icmeler a few weeks ago. It certainly is a lovely place to chill, it's one of my favourite haunts!

Last June we were told that the Magic Garden was up for sale - so glad it hasn't been sold though as it realy is a good place for a chill out and a couple of Efes before going back to the
hotel from the Beach!

Hi all
We have used the Magic Garden loads of times just to chill it is such a brilliant place, and the people are nice too. I dont know if they still do food there the menu was a bit small but ok. We were asked a few years ago (about 3 ) if we would like a 'special' seafood meal and paid about £30 deposit and had to return the next evening. The meal was really spectacular with lobster and loads of other bits and bobs as well. When we came to pay for the meal we were astounded to find that in total we had to pay about £70. We were a bit taken back as we have never been seriously ripped off in the 14 years we have been to Turkey (13 of them in Icmeler). We paid had another beer and left. We later found out that if you are offered a 'special' seafood meal always agree a price before the chef buys in the goodies. That way you will not end up with a suprise when the bill arrives.
We have been back and the young blond lady and her mother? still recognise us. It is still a great place to just chill with a frosted glass full of Efes and look at the nik naks in the garden.
