Best places to buy things are the small shops next to the canal. You can get really good stuff at the market, just look closely!

I can recommend the bag shop next door to the Chill Bar called The Natural Leather Shop. I've bought several handbags there (well ok a few more than several ) prices are good and so many to choose from. He also sells purses and wallets.

I've bought handbags at the market before and to be honest the quality has not been so good, the linings have ripped and the zips broken - but then maybe I've just been unlucky.

Have a fab holiday!

Mazz you and I must have bought from the same place as that is what happened to all mine! I did buy one bag from a shop though, I cant remember where it was but I will know it when I go back later this month. It worked out at £16 and is made of lovely quality leather. Im going to go back to him and buy my bags from there as I would rather pay that little bit more than to end up putting them in the bin.

Shopping

Ahhhhhhh shopping my favourite subject.....and if anyone wants a real bargain and a very good quality leather coat/jacket, I can personally recommend Morano Leather shop (cant tell you what road its in, but on the way back from Taj Mahal, going towards the beach, and in the same road as Heaven Bar). We bought leather coats 2 years running, and the guy makes them to measure. You just choose the leather, the colour, the style, or describe what you want, he takes measurements, and then a few days later you return for a fitting. Any final alterations are made and then you pick them up. He always asks when you are going home, only requires a small deposit, and the service is wonderful. Not sure if its his wife, sister or daughter who works with him, but they are just such a wonderful couple. They always treat us as old friends.
Leather jackets are of superb quality and workmanship.
