Postby redrhino12 » 21 May 2007 12:10

How many of you use the Lemon Spray when in Turkey.
I use it to stop the mozzies, helps with any sunburn and makes me smell like a local.
I even use it every day at home as an aftershave.
Will have to re-plenish my stock when back in Icmeler.

The lemon spray can be bought at any small shop and supermarket.
It is a common item and you will see it everywhere.
A Turkish friend put me onto the spray as an anti-mozzie repelent but it is advertised as a mozzie repelent as well.

But I wouldnt like to be responsible for reccomending something to you then the little blighters coming and having a feast off you.

The spray works for me.

lemon spray

I started using the lemon spray a couple of years ago, but only when I am at home. I keep a bottle in my golf bag, which is great for the hot summer days. My wife and I use Avon skin so soft which has been tried and tested - been using it since I was nearly eaten alive one year in Alcudia before we discovered Turkey Icmeler.

Booked up for July Yahoo

I think the lemon spray is used for all sorts. I remember having a pedicure and they used it on my feet, then had a manicure and they used it on my hands.

I also came out in some sort of itchy red rash and tried all sorts of creams and potions. Tried the good old lemon cologne and 2 days later - it disappeared. I brought some back as well.

Hubby gets bitten a lot by the midges etc while he mows the lawn. Make him splash the lemon spray on and he is in heaven while the insects are definitely in hell!
