We were in
Icmeler last year and loved the beach but as we were out and about a lot we only really discovered it in the last couple of days. Can anyone recommend a good spot on the beach which is near to a bar/restaurant where we can get drinks and snacks from? The beds we got were right on the waters edge but no bar really near.
Many thanks

If you walk up the beach front towards
hotel laguna when you get to laguna follow the path to the right up a slope. There you will come to two cafe bars go to the second one and there you can have lunch and use their sunbeds down on the beach they will even bring drinks etc down to you on the beach. It is really nice and peaceful there we call it our "chill out bar". Enjoy!

I would go infront of the Elif. Down the little path to the beach (past the stalls) and turn right a little.
The guy there is called Aturu (not too sure that is the right spelling) he's lovely and a real gent, he runs those beds with his brother and will run about for you all day long getting food and drink. I know all the boys do that but he really is sweet.
Tell him Joanna and mama sent you and you'll get special treatment.
I would avoid the bloke called Oz (right at the end of that path) he is a pain and will rip you off at any cost. (tall with dark shaggy hair).
Hope this helps

You could also try the free sunbeds and brollies at the other end of the beach from were berni was telling you.
I am talking about the beach in front or Liberty Bar,Harmony Showbar and Deniz Kapisi.
All these bars provide free beds and brollies as long as you use the bars facilities
Many a good laugh through the day with all the staff.

I concur with both Bernie and Gene but.......................
bernie's end of the beach for peace and quiet and also very clean water as the less people that go in the sea means less sun oil floating on it.
Genes beach is also superb but a little more crowded and the staff keep everyone amused.

I also like Genes end of the beach the staff there are great (get a bit giddy at lunch time but good fun) They keep me a bed on the little marina every day. My hubby dont like the beach so I go on my own and feel quite okay tend to see the same people on the beach each time we go, I turn up with my bag and book and sea bed each morning then hubby goes off wandering round shops and bars and I go and find him later in day works out well for us.

Also our "chill out bar" has magnificent views of the
icmeler coast line and you can see the boats going in and out of icmeler. When you are fed up of sunbathing or just need to get out of sun for a while you just go up the steps and sit at the tables get a drink and just enjoy the views, makes you think this is why i have come to icmeler truly beautiful views

Last year when we went to the beach we went up by the Deniz Kapsi bar. The beach was clean, sunbeds were free and you could get a drink as and when you wanted.

The beach outside the Yakamoz (down the by the Munarmar Joy hotel) is the cleanest and nicest part I think (great for kids too as there's a sand bank and the water's quite shallow there).
