Totally agree with you!!!!!! You can't beat an ice cold Efes on those blistering hot days!

Very true.... I know they sell them over here and ive been tempted in the summer to buy some but just feel it wont be the same and might spoil the magic ha ha.

glm I agree been to a couple of Turkish restaurants here in Edinburgh and Efes just doesnt have the same taste over here. :?

Nothing nicer than a tall iced glass with cold Efes being served to you on the beach. 8) :wink:

14 days to go than I will be able to taste the amber nectar again :lol:

I never drink lager at home but when i'm in icmeler i just love a cold efes in the afternoon, theres nothing like it, can't wait to be back again! 8)

We got some Efes from Costco a few weeks back and it's true - it's definitely not the same. The ice cold glass, the hot sun, the sea, the atmosphere...can't believe I still have 12 weeks to go!! :(

We only usually drink Lager at home and do love the Efes, but tend to find that after a while it starts to be a bit gassy and can sometimes leave a nasty taste - only after a fair few and some more mind. What I sometimes do is get them to put a lemonade top on it.

I agree though that during the day, a nice cold Efes is hard to beat, and it's certainly the best Lager outside of England.
