we have noticed the changes over the year as more villas and apartments are going up, the best way to see it is hire bikes, we do it every year, that way we find little cafe along the way which we would not haveknow abot otherwise

I prefer staying in old village and love the walk from the centre back up there. If you want a relaxing walk it's not that far and the roads are littered with shops, restaurants etc. It's much quieter at night and remember to check if the little train is running as that goes right to the bottom of the mountain.

You will love staying at Pinewood Apts in the Old Village. It's just on the outskirts of the old village. Not that far in that you'd get lost after a few bevvys skilly, so don't worry!!

First time for us in the Old village. We are at the Pinewood as well but I would love to know exactly were they are or which apartments are by them. My daughter and grandaughter were coming with us but she changed her mind. Now the Pinewood is full and if she changes her mind again I will have to find somewhere very close for her and the little one to stay.
Can't wait for it.

hi tinkerbelle, if you look at the new map, area 1 the pinewood aparts are next to the kurt aparts. We stayed there last year and had a great time, very clean and good food. They are just up the road a bit from the school. I wouldn't really class them as being in the old village which is more over the other side. only five minute stroll up from Tansas.plenty of nice retaurants and aparts close by.
