Jimmy's Icmeler

Postby JayJay » 07 Jun 2005 17:59

Found this bar by accident this year... It is down a side street next to the Alinda Hotel and Havanna Bar. Opposite the Blue Rainbow Hotel.

Jimmy is a great Guy and will love chatting with you during your visit. The bar has 2 satalite TV's,, normally showing sport on one and English soaps for us ladies at the other end of bar. The prices were very good.

 If you go take Jimmy a t-towel from the UK to add to his collection.

Got to agree with you JayJay,Jimmies place is called the Okimo and is one of the cheapest bars around for food and drink.

Jimmy's

Postby sixy7 » 12 Jun 2005 14:06

We have known Jimmy & Ozlen for 15 years. A truly great couple. Their bar is always spotlessly clean and they serve some of the best food that you will find anywhere in Icmeler. If you are looking for a bar not playing the usual blaring rap/pop crap, then Jimmy's is for you.
Another good way of finding Okimo's is that it is behind the Efes Hotel, across the road by the canal. Go and enjoy!

We have been going to icmeler for 3 years and this is the first time we tried jimmys. We were told about by a couple in our hotel. We ended up going there 5 or 6 times on our holiday this year. The food was excellent and no loud blaring music or waiters dancing around the table while you were trying to eat.All in all a g brill little place and we will be back next year.
