Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Going to my beloved Icmeler on 12th May.
But we are taking a friend along. Is it feasible to take a day trip to Altinkum to meet her Dad who is on holiday there at the same time?
Any advice on length of journey & cost would be appreciated!

I am not 100% certain here, tho I am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong,but i think the journey is about 6 hours. Not sure about costs.

It will take approximately 3/4 hours to get to Altinkum from marmaris, you can get a bus which will take you. Havent been able to get a price for you. But it is possible to get there. Mind you with 3/4 hours travelling there and back you may feel that you want to stay overnight and return the next day . Hope this helps

My friends had an allocation on arrival to Altinkum last year. They came to visit overnight and ended up staying 8 days! They loved Icmeler!

Maybe you should get her dad to visit you instead

The taxi cost them about 50 pounds, but they said it was worth it because of the hassle and time it would have taken by bus.

If you are a confident driver, it might be an idea to hire a car. The road to Altinkum is pretty good and straighforward.
