places to go/things to do?

Postby sanjo » 20 Apr 2007 22:47

Hi,
I've been to Icmeler 4 times now and done a few trips i.e. boat trips and jeep safari. Can anyone suggest any other day time trips? My other half is happy to lay by the pool with his Effes but myself and my 14 year old get a bit restless.
Also is there any other entertainment in the evenings besides the music bars. We've been to a couple of shows in Marmaris but is there anything in Icmeler itself?
Would be grateful for any suggestions.

Harmony Bar to see the stella show is great in Icmeler. Also we are bringing out some new excursions to ICR this summer which will be exclusive/ ICR Day Trip and Evening at the Riverside Restaurant. Also the popular ICR BOat trip all inclusive .Quad safaris are available. and rafting and also Horse Safaris.

Hi,
can you tell me where the Harmony bar is and what is the Stella show?
I think we will visit ICR when we get to Icmeler in June to see what you've got to offer.

6 weeks today and we'll be on our way :D

I hope this works, this is my first post!

Hello,

We've been going to Icmeler for the past 6 years now and would like to try out some new things. I was just wondering if anybody would please tell me more about the Horse Safari mentioned in the first post of this topic?

Thank you in advance

The stella show is a drag show which according to some things I have read is aimed more at an adult market, it can be quite near the bone. I have never been but will be going this year when I am there in May.

Here a link to their website, if this is OK admin

Horse Safari is a lovely afternoon trip. We booked in Icmeler (can't remember where) and were picked up from the hotel. They took us to the stables on the Datca road and we had around 3 hours riding through the forest.

The horses are well kept and there were 4 guides. It could be a bit boring for an experienced rider though.

Horse Safari

Do you have to be an experienced rider to do one of these trips?
I've never been on a horse before but my son has.

No you don't have to be experienced. The horses are pretty placid and know the route well. I would just mention it beforehand and the guide will keep an eye on you. Have fun!

Maymum

thanks for your reply. I might give it a go. I've always wanted to go on a horse but never had the nerve.
I've mentioned it to my son and he's all for it. Have you any idea how much it cost :?:

Sanjo everyone thought that I could ride a horse because John used to tell everyone that I ran this cowboy painting firm.

A general Question as we are talking horses.

Lone Rangers Horse called?
What was Roy Rodgers Horse called?
Gene Autrys Horse?
Tom Mix Horse?
