Oh I heard this speaker last year as I was leaving, frightened the life out of me, the shop owner said it was being tested then.
Are they going to speak English on it? Or just Turkish? ooo Rami might know?
Glad you mentioned it I had forgotten bout that speaker

When I was in Turunc last summer They had an anouncement system round the village.
As long its not on non stop I think I can live with it.
It will make a change from some of the music they play at the poolside bars and at the sea front restaurents.

HI all
Is this P.A that people are hearing at certain times of the day, not some local vendor advertising his produce etc, Ive heard it on numourous occasions especialy in the village and residental areas and took it to be the local "entroprenaur", using modern technoligy!! might be wrong though!!, has anyone actualy seen the speakers??

I have heard this before and to tell the truth it unerved me a little.
I could not understand what they were saying and, as I have a vivid imagination I was conjuring up thoughts of a world war or terrorist attack.
I felt stupid when I found out what it was

I heard this on quite a few occasions when I was out there a couple of weeks ago...not being funny but no doubt sounding stupid I thought it was some sort of religious chanting

I have heard this speaker I think it is near the Devamli
Hotel as it seems very loud up there it frightened the life out of me while I was sunbathing. We asked the lads at the bar and they said it is the council talking a load of crap.

Thanks Clare
All the councils are the same, either here or Turkey.
They all have the same language,
"Crapspeak"
