Thanks for that.

At least I sort of have an idea where they are now!!!

Do you have any idea what they are like? They look nice on the site and most apartments in Icmeler usually are nice enough!!! We've been lucky so far in our choice of places to stay and hopefully have hit the jackpot this time around again!!

All feedback much appreciated.

Hi Shauna... we are going back to the Tuncay apts this year which is about 1 min walk away from Club Daystar if that.... I do know that the Bar itself is very lively :D Well it seemed it when we was there anyway :D What age catagory do you fit in....?

Hi Gail

Thanks for replying! Do you know anything about the Daystar ... how far away are they from the centre of Icmeler ... I never heard of them until this year & we have always ended up with brilliant accomodation that is usually in the old village, so I'm hoping to save a bit on taxis this year and hope that the Daystar are more central!!!

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has stayed there and can give me some feedback!! It's always a concern when you stay somewhere that you feel obligated to spend time and money on their facilities.

Any info would be much appreciated!!

& to answer the age question Gail ... mid 30's ... probably at the "past it" stage for the lively bar!!! & I hope that by "lively" you don't mean one of these activity bars where you "have to join in" cos I'm one of these people who likes to spend my day relaxing in the peace & quiet!!!!

Thanks again.

Hi Shauna... the Club Daystar that I know is in the old village right near to the Tuncay apts we are staying in and the Rhodes apts...
When I say lively... I don't mean lots of activities going on... I just meant... music and pool table area from the bar bit underneath.. I don't really know where the apts are whether they are at the other side or above.. didn't really notice them...
Last year was the first time we actually stayed up in the old village... 2 yrs previously we were in the middle of Icmeler..very central.. and I wandered how we did it to be truthful... we much prefered stopping in the old village reason being we have rebooked it for this year... :)
We found lovely restaurants in the old village and just wandered down into the main bit every other night. Im sure all will be ok... have you not gone onto any apt feedback forums and read up any reviews on these apts from people that have been there...

The problem finding reviews on the Daystar is they have never been used by UK travellers until the end of last season.

They were built and contracted by a Scandinavian agency until they were released from their contract lasy season.

Hi Gail

Thanks for that!! We've always stayed in the old Village part of Icmeler and have more than likely come across the Club Daystar but just haven't paid particular attention to them!! We have stayed at the Julian Forest a couple of times and at the Kleopatra apartments ... so being in the Old Village isn't too big a hassle!! As long as we're within walking distance ... !!!! :D

Thank goodness however about the lively thing ... I was really starting to worry ... thought my peaceful & tranquil holiday was going to be seriously disrupted! :P

Thanks again for your help ... much appreciated.
