hi there, does anybody know how long does your passport need to be valid for, when going to turkey? is it 6 months or 6 weeks after you return from turkey?
and is the visa situation the same as always, just pay £10 and get a sticker?

Salkk, your passport must have a 6 month validity on it when travelling, and yes the £10 visa has to be paid upon entering turkey

Hope this helps.

Well, I went online and you can complete your form on there if it is for a renewal, they check it and send it to you in the post and all you have to do is sign and return with photos. Saves filling out the 6-7 pages you get from the post office

it's a ridiculous amount of money for a passport. i just had to spend that amount to get mine renewed. i still had 4 years left on my original passport, but because i got married last year, i had to pay for a new 10 year passport. plus they charged me £3.00 for recorded delivery to send my marriage certificate back!
