Hi All we have just been notified that there are new owners at the Chateau de ville - does anyone know anything and if they are doing any work on there yet? we are trying to contact the hotel but only received message tonight when i got home from work so there was no answer from the hotel and will only be able to try first thing in the morning!! Hopefully we are still able to stay there when we go in May??? We booked through On the Beach and they are going to speak to their contact in Icmeler tomorrow so hope to know more then. Any help though would be great. Thanks

I only know what I’ve seen on Facebook, on the Beach and Sunshine cancelling bookings or offering an alternative as the hotel wasn’t honouring existing bookings.

saw this on a Facebook page earlier today,

Today had notice that our booking to go to the Chattaue De Ville for this year has been cancelled. Under new management, no further explanation

Might be worthwhile getting on to On the Beach

rumour has it either russian or german owners

Apparently a lot of work is being done on the hotel too.......

Thanks i have been in touch with on the beach and also the hotel and i have sorted it and will still be staying there. Would be interested to know what works have been done if anyone knows. I dont use facebook if anyone has anyupdates from it would be grateful if you can pass it on. Thanks
