Hanedan closed.

After 7 years trading, Hanedan have closed for good. Such a shame. One of my favourite places, great food, and Ahmet's comedy Scouse accent had us laughing every time. Like many places, they were very quiet this year, and I feared for them. I'm just wondering if anyone else will go the same way. Hope not.

That's a shame I loved the Hanedan, ate in there many times.

It is a real shame, as it offered something different from the run-of-the mill 'chips with everything' places. I understand Ahmet is going to be concentrating on a new venture in Marmaris, and hopefully that will be a success for him. Sadly, I think it may not be the only place to close after such a quiet season though - time will tell.

very sad to hear. Such a lovely place. I wish him well in his new venture and hopefully someone will post his new restaurant next season wherever it may be.

Have just learned that Hanedan will be reopening this season after all, which is good news. It will be their last season, however, as they are going to return to the UK after this.
