Dalaman Airport delays.

For info of those who may not be aware, since the terrorist attack at Ataturk Airport security at Dalaman has been increased. It can take up to an hour to pass through the outer checkpoint on the approach road to the airport because of traffic tailbacks.
While I'm sure none of us would complain under the circumstances, it does mean setting off to the airport earlier.

Hopefully they will keep this up until the end of the season and not just for a few weeks.

Thanks for the info - will get our transfer to pick us up a bit earlier than normal

Most of the good, reliable transfer companies will be aware of the current checks and delays and should arrange to pick you up a bit earlier than they would have done.

came home today stopped at airport security they looked in boot then waved us on at the entrance all scanners were working straight through no problems and no hold ups
