Hi Blondie - great pics to keep us going!! Where you at? Is it the castle in Marmaris? If it is it looks fab. Always said we would go up one day but never been!! Will have to venture up there this year me thinks.

Hi -sorry, meant to put captions on the pics but never quite got round to it. Quite a few of the pics were taken at Marmaris Castle - definitely worth a visit. Only 8TL to get in and the exhibition is really interesting. A lot of the exhibits are from the Knidos archaeological site near Datca. And of course, you won't escape 'Mama Castle' - the old lady who has a gift shop on the way up to the castle. What a character - and what a saleswoman she is!
Other pics mostly in and around Icmeler - including some of the now abandoned houses (holiday homes?) round from the marina end of the beach.

Great photographs Blondie and thanks for posting. It is lovely to see places off the beaten track and obviously you and hubby enjoy exploring the area, taking in Turkey's history. Are there any of them from Akyaka?

Hi - thanks for the comments - the last four pics (after the Ataturk Stadiium one) are from Akyaka. I do have a few more of our hotel etc, but they are on my phone so I'll try and upload them later.
