Sun express

Has anybody used these flights in the last couple of years. Sister is using them to fly out in July and is worried about old reviews from 2009.

Not flown with them yet but will come travelling home with them in October - TC have sub-contracted with them.

They are jointly owned by Turkish airlines & Lufthansa - both are reputable companies so I doubt there is anything to worry about.

First time I have used them. Came out with them about a week ago, no problems. Flight took slightly longer than scheduled but considering Aberdeen INTERNATIONAL Airport (that's a joke) & we took off slightly late not a surprise. Legroom etc all standard, cabin crew ok did their job, no hard sells, can't say much more. Not Easyjet nor Jet 2 overall standards but as l say nothing to complain about on this occasion.

Flew with Sun Express from Aberdeen on 22 June. Found the flight really comfortable. There was plenty on leg space - better than Thomas Cook flights. If buying anything on flight they preferred you to pay with English notes or Turkish Liia rather than Scottish notes. Service was good. Would use again.

Flew with them in June. Plenty of leg room. Snacks etc very reasonably priced. They, obviously, restock at Dalaman as they only had sweets and red wine on the way out but had a full stock on the way home..
