hi all could any 1 tell me how many years you can go back to claim flight compensation as I was delayed for 14 hours a good few year ago. all the best bill.roll on august

I do believe you can go back 6 years but if you check the Civil Aviation site, it gives you all the info.

Hi. You can submit a claim going back 6 years in England and 5 years in Scotland. Have a look on moneysavingexpert. It gives you all the info you need and has proforma letters you can use. I recently put in a claim as we were also delayed for 14 hours - it took them less than 3 weeks to advise my claim was successful. Expecting the money any day now.
When submitting your claim make sure you put in the date that you actually flew.
If you are successful, if they advise you they are providing you with a holiday voucher you do not have to accept this. Advise them you want cash instead.
My claim was with Thomas Cook.
