The exchange rate just hit 4 lira to the £

Just over 4 lira now bank rate but if you exchange in your bank in Turkey then you get just a point below that

Thanks for that Geordie !! We got pulled last year, think it was about £60 we had to pay I still think the person at the check in desk has a little pedal to put the displayed weight up, and i think they have to pull a certain amount of people per flight, or am i just being silly ??

Lol ... Sorry about that ... At least you were on the same Flight, me and Mrs G had a nightmare 2nd visit cos of me in October on our return .... Long story!

Just returned from my first jolly of this year.....45 sleeps to dare I say it...Portugal !!!
It's a while to go 'till my September visit ti Icmeler, but it may be worth me putting some Lira aside ready at that rate.

Aye, it's a long time yet for your Icmeler fix ... How many times have u asked Mr M to change the Alvor holiday so far then???

I lost count & stopped nagging way back Geordie. He does say now though that HE thinks HE made a mistake.
What's domes done now though, Alvor it is in June this year.....never to be repeated.
We both miss Icmeler so much, even though we don't know what to expect this year when we arrive !!
I hope it's all good and will all be all completed for all those going soon.
Can't wait to hear about everyone's holiday, just to keep me going till September.

Check those flights, then check again....& keep Mrs G's purse on a tight reign. Securely in her possession.

Lol ...Yep, he knows he done wrong ......

I've checked the Flights for June as we've booked through Jet2 and we're definitely going together! Lol

I'm still hoping for a sneaky 10 days in September ... But finances and work will probably say 'NO' ... But Canaries for 2 weeks in January to look forward to I suppose

I'll keep you informed when we're in Icmeler of changes/rates etc

Asda offering a rate of 3.97 for even £100 worth, so bought a couple of hundred.

Now as soon as I buy the rate usually goes up even further. Sods law

It might have dropped now but I managed to get 4.11 over there from Adam.
