that's us booked up for our 8th year in a row...cant see the point going (trying ) anywhere else !! icmeler is everything to us as a holiday resort.. Spotless, lovely food, brilliant weather, relaxing.. and Lovely people, + the Efes helps a wee bit !! going at the end of june/july for 10 nights....staying at the imperial apartments, as we did last year.. roll on,,,,,,,

Congratulations Jimmy! ... Your statement is exactly the same as many of us on here think

Mrs G and I have looked, debated and declined other Resorts over the last 3 years since finding 'Home' .... Like we always say 'why risk somewhere else'!!

Our 1st yearly visit is 26/6 for 2 weeks and then back in September as usual for another 10 days, see you there!!

If someone had told me I'd visit the same place on holiday twice - never mind year in, year out - I'd have thought they were mad, but that was before we discovered Icmeler all those years ago now, and we've been coming back very year since, more often than not twice a year. However, having visited a few other places in Turkey now, what we are tending to do these days is spend a few days somewhere else first and then come to Icmeler (for instance we've previously combined our stay in Icmeler with Istanbul and Dalyan and this year it's Akyaka).
This year we are also spending our second holiday in Turkey - but going to Bitez, as it's a part of the country we've not yet seen. Icmeler will always be first on our list, but having sampled just a few of the joys of the rest of Turkey, we're determined to get out and see more of such a vast and fascinating land.

This will be our 7th year in a row to Icmeler, 1st year at Club Sun Village and at Grand Aquarium ever since.
We are booked up for 20th July for 2 weeks.

I'm ashamed to say I used to frown at people who went to the same place over & over again - including my best friend who has been coming to Icmeler for 10 years+

I've travelled to many destinations around the World & was convinced to try Icmeler in 2013.

I fell in love with the place & It will be my 5th visit in May - amazing how things change lol

+1 for me, I was one of those that used to say that I'd never go to the same place twice, this is our 8th year too, 2wks in July with family at Sun Village and then back for a cheeky week in September just the 2 of us.

We also didn't think Icmeler would have us under its spell but this will be our 7th year and already we are thinking about going back next year although maybe doing it a little different like visiting Istanbul for a few days before going to Icmeler. We will be popping into I.C.R. while we are there in July to enquire about it

We were also those people who said we'd never go to the same place twice, 12th year for us, twice a year for 11 of them. I gave in under pressure this year, we are going portugal in June, why, why oh why I keep asking myself. Back to our lovely Icmeler in September. Next year it'll be back to our usual June and September visits. That's a definite

After we returned from a great holiday last year at oren hill I was adamant that we should try somewhere different this year.
We have been to icmeler 7 times and love the place but I just fancied Croatia,skiathos or somewhere different.
Before I knew it the wife had ruled against me and booked yet again for sun village and now it's getting nearer I'm relieved.
I can imagine sat here reading the site and knowing we were missing out this year woulda been a killer.
From now on I'm keeping my ideas to myself and the holiday is the wife's job(she knows best)
