And so the closed season begins and changes get underway - they've been demolishing some of the shops etc just along from the Florida bar, including the little kebab shop and barber's. Rumours of new units to be built in their place...

It seems like months ago since we were there .... In fact it's only been 36 days!

Roll on the end of June 2015 for our 2 weeks and then a sneaky 10 days again in September!

Well, seems as if the demolition men are being kept busy in Icmeler at the moment - latest is the hair/nail salon near the Wayside, which is gone, although I hear the family who have run it for years do plan to continue the business elsewhere.

Blondie. I take it that is Istanbul hairdressers/barber etc. Hope somebody keeps us posted as to where they are relocating as I am a regular there and would miss them greatly.

It's the one right on the corner - I'm told they do intend to carry on trading, but not sure if it will be in a new build on the same site or somewhere else. If I hear any more, I will pass it on...

I will have to find out where they relocate to or my life would not be worth living!!!!!. Having a manicure and pedicure there is the highlight of the holdays for my missus

No word on the hairdresser/nail place yet, but I will keep you posted if I find out anything - in the meantime, work is well underway to refurbish what was the Idas Hotel (the one above where the underground market is - not to be confused with the Ida next door to the Bonjour) and the "new" concrete-built stalls which they built down on the beachfront where the old Bamboo bar was (to replace the stalls along the canal) are also going.

And yet more changes on the way - seen pics on various FB groups today of work taking place at the Aqua. They seem to be really cracking down on illegal builds and use of land which doesn't actually belong to people, as they're now turning their attentions to the garden area at the front of the Aqua. I think that one might surprise quite a few folk...

Can you please tell me if there is any photos of work at the aqua hotel. As me and my family stayed there this september and had a great time. Thank you.
