Hi,,,anyone any idea if an Icmeler jeweller would restring pearls?Can get it done here in UK but so expensive.Thanks.

Thanks for that Blondie.Leaving here Thursday lunchtime for Icmeler,,,I have left it rather late to ask ,my wife just mentioned it today but anything you come up with would be great.Thanks again.

Seriously though I've never had to need that particular service, but we've always used Ercan at Arica Jewellers and I'm sure he could help .... Straight opposite ICR Office on the Roundabout :wink: ... Just mention Paul & Jeanette from Blyth and he'll know who you mean, Mrs G has had her Eternity Ring and a lovely Necklace handmade there over the last couple of years and both excellent quality.

Thanks Geordie,,think I know exactly where you mean.I've bought the "boss" numerous bits over the years but this request was a bit different.Out there from Thursday for two weeks,,,rock on.

Spoken to Linda at Latina Goldsmiths and they can do it - if you pop in to see them, they will give you a free quote. They are just up the road from Romance restaurant on the other side, next door to Meryem Yemek Evi.

Would definitely recommend Latina jewellers. There's nothing they can't do!

Before you arrange to have them restrung check whether they are knotted. When I had mine done recently I was told that the knotted ones now have to be sent to London. Not all jewellers can do it.
