That moment when you walk into a bar where they haven't seen you for over a year and your drink is on the table without a word said!

Now that is why I go back. The moment I walk down the road into town, hi Sam, hi Sam. All the way and the welcome you get in your fave restaurant. Love it!

It amazes me how they remember you - last year, my husband and I walked along the coastal path into Marmaris, right round to the marina. As we passed one bar, the front of house guy spoke to us - then said "I remember you, you came into my restaurant in Icmeler". That was on our first visit to Icmeler, more than 10 years ago - we were gobsmacked!

At first you think they are just being polite, but it is true friendship. They do genuinely remember you.
Year after year we are met by the same greetings, and farewell hugs when we leave.
That's why we keep returning
