Hi not been on in a while but occasionally lurk!Last Icmeler visit was September last year and up til then we had been at least once a year for 9 years.Doubtful that I will ever be able to return due to health problems,but if I can then I surely will!just wondering about all the people in my post heading.I contacted trip advisor to say that Vinces restaurant had been incorporated with Venice....take a look...so far they haven't changed it.Maybe if more people tell them they will.Any one been to Vinces this year?How is his dad? Is Jimmy still at the Okimo?Oz at the Dilhan? Messi on coco beach?Makes me sad to think about it but I have so many happy memories.If you see any of them especially Vince please say we are asking about him.Not very good e mailing as his English is ok talking but not writing.thanks and best wishes.Julie and Tony x

Vinces dad passed away in the winter and vinces and the venic are two different places Jimmy and wife are back at the Okimo. messi is still at coco beach we will send your love to vinceand the boys when we go back in five weeks

Sorry to hear about your health, in answer to some of your questions. Messi was still on the beach in May when some friends of mine went, and last season Oz went back to the Dilhan from the Buffallo bar, I don't know if he is still there, but no doubt someone will let us know.
I believe Jimmy has reopened this year again, but this may have now changed.. As for Vince, I am staying there in September and will pass on your regards, I will also ask the about the Venice and his dad, and report any changes to the above.
I am there from the 7th Sept, so if you fancy "Lurking" after this time I will post some answers.

Not sure what you mean about Vince's being incorporated with Venice on TA - have had a look and although I don't see a separate listing for Vince's, I couldn't see reviews for Vince's in with the Venice ones...

Thanks all for your replies and Pete for your e mail.Blondie if you go to the Venice restaurant on trip advisor on page 4 of the reviews 6th one down in for vinces then page 5 4th one down and my own is 8th one down .It was only when I went to see how Vince was doing on tripadvisor that I realised the listing had gone.Because I had posted at least two reviews for him I searched under my user name and found them on the Venice! I then informed trip advisor but they haven't done anything....Glad to hear the news obviously apart from Vinces dad.Sad news and please give him my love.Thanks again.Julie x

we have just come back from Vinces. Spent 10 days there 21-31st July.We hada great time as ususal but i have to say it was far too hot for me. I much prefer June and September. I asked Vince if he had heard anything from you or if you had booked to go back in September but he said that he hadn't.
I am so sorry to hear that your health is still not good. We had a lovely holiday last September and enjoyed the time we spent with you and Tony.
Bob and I are going back on the 18th September to stay in the old village for a change. can't wait to try Yurda's (Champagne) new apartments the Baha Sahin Champagne apart-hotel. Both Bob and i send our very best wishes to you and Tony.

I stayed at the Siesta Apartments in June & spent time at Baba Sahin too.

Its lovely, a great location & the reviews have been excellent - Yurda & Andrea are always so welcoming.

I've no doubts you will have a wondeful time.

Have flagged up the Vince's/Venice confusion on TA - there doesn't seem to be a separate listing for Vince's at the moment for some reason, but hopefully they will now do something about it.

Hi Brenda!Good to know you have been back to vinces!We were in Alnmouth(!) for a week with my two daughters and one of their husbands and four granddaughters so not far from you although you weren't there.I am ok slightly worse prognosis but cant get any insurance at all,so Turkey is out of the question.Anyway nice to know you are still enjoying your holidays.Was lovely to meet you and Bob.julie xx
