Jeep safari

Postby mrdinky » 13 Jul 2014 17:56

Hi folks me and the eldest daughter fancied doing a jeep safari this year as we never got around to it last year

However following the recent press about the death of 2 British tourists at a different resort my daughter has now gone off the idea

Anyone got any advice or comments on the safety aspect of this trip?

Hi, me and Mrs G have just returned home and we done a Jeep Safari for the 1st time ... We also heard of the deaths whilst there, but we were unsure if true etc and no one seemed to know if it was true ... Anyway, we went for it and what a day!

You're encouraged to wear your Seatbelt at all times (we did), Driver was safe and a good laugh, you're also warned not to use your Water Gun on any Driver (which apparently was the reason for the deaths, as the Jeep overturned when the Driver tried to dodge another Jeep) and we felt safe the whole day.

Don't let it put you off going, it was the best trip we've ever had! :D

We booked with 'Marco' next door to Cupids by the Le'toile Hotel ... But you can book with anyone and you'll go on the same Trip .... Honestly, it's like being a kid again once you get that Water Gun in your hand! Lol
