reusing e visa

Postby kez&sue » 05 Jul 2014 15:43

hi all firstly let me apologise if this has been asked before but we visited icmeler the 1st week of may for 7 nights and we are returning on the 8th of September for 14 nights now having read our e visas it would appear that the e visa will still be valid for our September trip thanks in advance

The date of expiry should be on your evisa...it's valid for 180 days and you can stay up to a maximum of 90 days during that time, so you should be fine.

We've been twice this year so far on ours - you just show them it again with your passport like you did the first time and they give you a stamp. Glad the expiry date is on them too, we had a bit of a battle arguing last year the actual date of expiry and were threatened with a fine! It never happened on the way out, but not a nice thing to have on the way in!!

That was last year before the evisa - they all count differently from the date stamp on the stick in your passport visa of old - they were doing 6 months rather than 180 days - hence the argument. No need now, it's clearly stated on the evisa :)
