Can you get these over the counter at the pharmacies?

An odd request I expect.... has anyone ever got HRT patches over the counter? Mine are rubbish and want to fall off as soon as it gets above 20 degrees and my gp is equally as rubbish at understanding why I want another prescription to allow for heat failure lol. Thought it would just be less hassle all round if I knew I could get spares OTC in Icmeler. Does anyone know?

think you can buy all prescription medication otc, i stock up on mine each year,£££s cheaper than prescription charges here, i use the chemist round the corner from tansa in old village,it cost me 6tl for two inhalers! even my pharmacist here told me to stock up whilst on holiday,i am on a lot of medication and have no trouble buying any of it,so you should be able to buy hrt

I once miscalculated the number of pills my husband required to cover the holiday period and as I always take his repeat prescription with me I just took it to a Pharmacy and the pills were sold to me without question and very cheap too.

I've got lots of stuff before, I know you can get pills and the like - I've had mefanamic acid and inhalers, wondering specifically about hrt patches! Guess I shall have to find out on Friday and report back in case anyone else might need them too

What we stock up on is a brilliant treatment for mouth ulcers. It used to be prescribed, then NICE in its wisdom told GPs that they couldn't prescribe it and so we used to buy it. You can no longer buy it in the UK so I asked in a chemist in Icmeler last summer if they stocked it. Bought a number of them and distributed them amongst friends and family. I now have orders for my next holiday. The name of the treatment is Kenacort-A Orabase Pomad.
