Golden Moon

Has anyone tried the Golden Moon restaurant on the square this year? Frequented it last year for the octopus but they have a new chef this year so just wondering. Thanks.

Decided to give it a try last night anyway & wasn't disappointed Simply ordered the grilled octopus & it was lovely & at 29.5tl was well worth it; beer cost 8tl & also got the puffy bread & mezes on the house. Will certainly be returning.

After that popped into Oscar's new bar round the corner; nice place, modern, same Oscar (not that we would want him to change), same good music, same tasty stick things & 8tl for a pint.

What other choices do they have, food wise ? Might give it a try when we go.

We have frequented the Golden Moon lots of times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. The menu is very much the same as most eating places around town and reasonably priced. Give it a try,

Yes it's not the biggest menu choice I've seen but does have a very good selection, anything from pizza, steaks, fish, casseroles, Sunday roasts etc just like most eateries as geordie mafia says. Certainly worth a visit & you can peruse the menu from outside as usual.

Has it always been called Golden moon ? I cant think of where it is, I may have seen it before but just cant place it

As far as I know it has been called Golden Moon for a good number of years. It is in the far right corner of the square just up from Lighthouse, Bonjour & Idas just in front of the new Velas hotel on the corner as you turn right to go to Cactus & Magic Garden. I'm sure you'll easily find it.
