Flights aug/September

Postby Sparklegirls » 23 May 2014 12:51

We have jus returned yesterday after our first trip in nearly 6 years to icmeler & we have the icmeler bug!!!

We really want to go back in aug/sept, we spoke to so many people who jus book flights then book transfers /accommodation via ICRC travel or with the hotel apartments direct!

We paid £700 for 2 adults for 5 nights 6days which we thought was fab, flight times were good we had full evening & night upon arrival the full day before we departed! We spoke to many people as we tend to be very much chatterboxes & the prices some people had paid we're amazing we were in shock how cheap their costs were!!!

Anyways we are checking flights today & the prices alone for flights are £300 each is this average? Good?
We are flying from Scotland either Edinburgh or glasgow central - any hints or tips on flight booking anyone? Do prices change?

Many thanks :D

£300 is about right for Glasgow flights, if you go from Edinburgh with easyjet it's usually cheaper.

Just had a check for you :)

14 nights 16th Sept - 30th Sept £257 each including 20kg luggage

Not quite relevant to the dates your looking at but we paid £204 each with Onur for the 29th of June from Newcastle (bags included). Flights have now dropped to £170 if thats any use to anyone.

Blondie, its a good Sunday!

How do you book with Onur? Didn't realise that you still could.

Fantastic I'll try see what I can find with onur air too

I know blondie it's still the same perfect wonderful icmeler at heart no one needs to worry they will have fab holidays here regardless of a few changes here & there!

We had a really good flight out left glasgow 7am arrived dalaman 1:30pm local time which was perfect as we had a whole night ahead of us however in august all flights that I can find are arriving 9/10/11 pm at night is this potentially because all turkey lovers have booked the early flights already? Or does the schedule change? Many thanks for all your responses

Have you tried a package deal? We usually use travel republic or lowcostholidays. We normally go first two weeks(ish) in september and pay about £800 for the two of us - B&B, flights, transfers, luggage, airport taxes, etc. all included.
