Hi all we are travelling to icmeler on the 5th of may this will be the earliest we have ever been so just wondered what will be open as in restaurants etc many thanks

When I returned home on 15th April,a lot of places were not open and a lot of work had not even started.However what was open then was :-
B&S on the promenade,Florida restaurant,Ida pool and restaurant,3(4) Bells,Murat apartments pool,Harrys steakhouse opposite Sizzler.All the turkish eating places were open,Nefis,Kayra,Kardelen , Pizza Timo etc.There was a new supermarket open opposite Yapi Kredi bank (Carrefour SA).The new butchers shop was open for business next door to Lovestar restaurant,and Cadde bar and restaurant,previously Icmeler bar and restaurant.Sonys bar was open and was the venue for the weekly quiz.Rush bar was the venue for the weekly bingo.The taxi boats had started up going to Marmaris,and we took one to Turunc for the Monday market. Tintins was open and serving the cheapest Efes in resort at 5.5TL.

I'm sure that most if not all of the bars and restaurants will be open for the 1st week in May, it's when the season traditionally starts in Icmeler.

We're flying out tomorrow, hoping there will be plenty open as the forecast would suggest fishing won't be so great for the first few days at least!

Yes, more and more places are opening up every day so I am sure there will be plenty of choice for you...

I've been in touch with some locals this week, some have opened today & those that haven't yet said they will be open by the end of the coming week so by 2 May.

Last year we went on 4 May & everything was open except No Name Bar as the owner was still in the UK at that time.

More and more shops and restaurants opening every day start of the season is May 1st the lira is around 3.46 3.50 large beer is between 6 or 7 lira weather warming up nicely

Everything will be open by the 5th May

Erdem Restaurant has moved from the promenade to round the corner facing the side of L*Etoille Hotel. Its looks very nice from pics and hope they do well in the new site. Good Luck Mustafa and staff - see you all soon.

Did you not go to Rush? It's been open all year!
