Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Just been reading on Facebook that the new mayor has said that the stalls on Icmeler market will only be allowed to sell fruit and vegetables and not clothes and handbags etc. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?

I have also seen these rumours, but I don't think anything has been confirmed yet.

is the mayor of icmeler not the same as marmaris this year as he shut the big one in marmaris a few years ago

Well it might not be a bad thing having seen flick knives, tazer guns and all sorts of weaponry for sale there!!!

I understand that the post of Icmeler mayor no longer exists and Icmeler now comes under the mayorship and council of Marmaris.

I ready on facebook that very few stalls in the market were open on Wednesday of this week.

Was open for fruit veg and fake crap this morning but top of market was not there yet and I suppose it had to do with lack of tourists
