Le'toile Hotel

Postby geordie1970 » 09 Feb 2014 11:40

Hi all,

Anyone stayed here before? Any comments good or bad? Food ok? Rooms?

We've stayed at the Munamar (the real one!), the Casa Blanca, and the Mersoy Bellavista (also the real one, in a suite with Pool view) 3 times in a row, but Mrs G wanted to try elsewhere ... The le'toile is all inclusive, which we usually don't do, but we'll still be out about on an evening supporting the local businesses

Cheers,

Paul & Jeanette

hi,we stayed here 3 years ago and had a lovely holiday, myself and my partner shared a room with our son and had 3 single beds in a room which we found okay. The floors were all laminate and the bathroom was really nice plenty of wardrobe space for the 3 of us the only downside to the room was that the air con was not very powerful but we were okay with it and we were there in august. The friends we went with had a room for 4 and it was really spacious, their 2 boys slept in the front room area but they had a full size fridge which was a bonus. We found the food to be of a good standard plenty to choose from but as with all inclusive it does get a bit repetitive but we all found something to eat and there was 9 of us all together. Its a shame the restaurant isnt air conditioned, though if you can try to get a table in the open air section overlooking the beach. The hotel entertainment was very poor to be fair both during the day and evening time however we went out most evenings after dinner and found ourselves a bar to sit in watching the world go by.
The only reason we would never return to this hotel is the farce of trying to get a sunbed around the pool there just isnt enough room around the pool for the size of this hotel,my friends hubby was up at 6am most mornings looking for beds and the hotel do nothing to stop people from putting towels out during the night, even if they had a bar on the beach where you could get drinks it would help but you can only get drinks on your all inclusive from the hotel bar.
All in all we had a a good holiday but this year when we go to Icmeler we are returning to self catering staying at the Truva Apts with the pound being really strong against the lira we hope to get our money to stretch a bit further.

it is a good choice with agreat location right near the beach. Think it is more a case of its fairly quiet on here at the moment, as we get nearer the season and once the season starts it usually get busier

Hi Geordie1970

I don't think its sad lol.

Seriously, I've gained knowledge this winter especially with regards to the visa changes & bar closures etc from this and other forums.

For me it makes the winter a little less cold and wet.
