Most folks on here don't visit as early as April so won't be able to answer your question. Your sarcasm is uncalled for

Art, there will be a few places open in April, but not many - most won't start opening until the end of the month. Some of the more Turkish type eating places are open all year round, though - and I think Florida and Deniz Kapisi will be open. Quite a few places are undergoing refurbishment at the moment too, so it's difficult to say when they will be opening. There will be more places open in Marmaris though

sorry if you felt I was being sarcastic.
I have been on this forum for about 6 years now and I have found a few posts where someone has asked a question with no reply.
a simple no or yes to question would be polite, no reply to a post may make them think the question was stupid or unimportant.

Art, what you will find sometimes is that you ask a question or post a comment and you get very few replies.
Yet if you ask something like " Does the Venice use frozen chips or do they peel the potatoes and make fresh chips ? " you will find this will spark off a whole debate that lasts for weeks
I am sure the lack of response was just one of those things.

Have a great time.

To be honest given that Easter is later this year I would imagine the resort will not start opening until mid April. There are certainly not many flights coming over at the start of April so although there is nothing to stop you from coming to Icmeler, there may not be a lot open.

What would the weather be like then too?

In April our weather is still very unpredictable Sami, chances are rain, especially at the beginning of April, but it will be warming up, I wouldn't have said it was sun bathing weather, but hey Im not coming from UK weather :D

Forum members will only reply to a question if they know the answer or have a question to add that's relevant to your original post.
"A simple yes or no" isn't going to help you if we all said yes they're all open and they're not!

Hi Art

Just to set your expectations, the place I stay isn't opening until 20th April (Easter weekend I believe) and some of the locals I keep in contact with are not leaving their home towns to go to work until around that time either.

We have been twice in April so we know what to expect.
It's a very different holiday than summer time . More chilled out.
So the flights are booked , staying at the greenmar so looking forward to it.

Well, hopefully you will have a great holiday and be able to come back and post one of this season's first reviews to let everyone know what's happening in our favourite place!
