gold / diamond advice please

Hello all
I fly out to icmeler 22nd of september after a few years not traveling anywhere.
ideally im after a replacement solitaire diamond earing that i lost over xmas (i had this made by carat jewelers by the banks / in the square in 2006) i dont think they are there anymore

where is best for custom designed items?
im guessing from the photos ive seen a lot has changed in icmeler

Go and see Linda and Atilla at Latina jewellers, which is just up from Romance Palace, on the other side of the road. They are very good, and quite reasonable. They do a lot of the repairs for other jewellers in Icmeler and have their own workshop where you can see them working.

You could also try Metin @ Trust jewellers which is on the main road from the square going towards Love Boat
He copied a neckless I had bought my wife in the USA and made earings to match which where perfect and at a very good price

We all have our favourites and mine is Linda and Dino at Star Gold & Silver. Like Latina he does work/repairs for other jewellers. I have had several pieces made by him to a design of my choice, taking his advice into account. Excellent workmanship, customer service and very competitively priced. Valued here much more than I paid.

Depends where you're coming from lawrence. I'd definitely recommend Firuze and we've had a number of items made and we've always been very pleased. They're easy to find but in case you're not sure of your way around have a look at the around icmeler map where there is a marker for Firuze on https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8 ... 8e86a260a2

Anyone will tell you where Romance Palace is. Very well known. It's just off the main street. If you're coming from the new square towards the old village, cross the main road and keep straight on. Romance is on the right, Latina's on the left 100 yds further up, near the 3 (4) Bells. Hope this makes sense.

hi lawence, i noticed you havent been to icmeler for a few years. you said, you, know where the three bells are, but the three bells moved last year. so to find latina jewellers, form the main square head up the main road to the old village. go over the cross road pass the romance on the left then at the entrance to the babadan apts cross the road latina jewellers will be in front of you. my wife will only use him even if she has a problem in england she waits to see him to fix it. talk to linda and explain what you need, you will not be disappointed. p.s take little wiskey (the dog)a treat ha ha, all the best dave & bernie
