Rememberance Day

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget...today I will be remembering all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who still bear the scars - mental and physical - and those, including my own son, currently serving.

My sentiments entirely Blondie and Wimpy. We must never forget those who lost their lives for us, those scarred forever and pray that those currently serving are returned safely to their loving families.

Lovely to see this :)

My Dad served in the 70s in ireland and he often refers to it as the 'forgotten war'

Rememberance Day means a great deal to us - thinking of all those lost (and affected) by all conflicts, past and present
