Mini review

I've written a mini review of our trip from 1-17 oct, but I left out one of the highlights of my holiday - going to the Dogs Home and walking some of the dogs. For those of you who don't know, Icmeler Animal Welfare is a shelter for stray, sick or injured animals, run by Jan and Semin and a turkish worker who does about 2 hrs a day. They have about 60 dogs and puppies to look after and any help is always welcome, whether it's donations of money or food, going to their table top sales or walking the dogs. They have a Facebook page with all the details, so if you love dogs, please take a look.

No worries, Tarnlass. I'm sure you'll love it. It's one of the best we've stayed in, and we've been in a few. No frills, but absolutely fine if you just want a place to sleep. Be sure to pop over the road and have a drink or a meal at Charlie's Place. Some of the best food in Icmeler. We'll hopefully be back there begininning of may, but don't have dates yet.
