Just shy of 40 lira for a tall fan from tansas. Might be worth checking the apartments don't mind you doing it, you wouldn't want a surprise extra charge at the end of your hols. Enjoy.

Good point, Mark - I've seen a few posts in various places from people who had taken fans into apartments only to be told they weren't allowed to use them or being charged extra for the electricity.

Moonlight Apartments charge for the use of you own fan I think it was £15 per week but I bartered and we agreed on a litre of duty free spirits, however this was after using the fan with no issue for a couple of years but they said far too many people were now doing it and costing them electicity so they started to charge which is understandable.

Whereas some places might get funny about this, I know for a fact that Grand Aquarium will actually 'lend' you a fan if you ask them. No charge! They really are a nice bunch there and is one of the main reasons for returning this year.

Aircon is still free, we used the fan to move the cooler air from the bedroom to the living room, it made it more bareable for the kids.

Have a great time, I here some of the apartments were refurbished over the winter.
