Nice Pics jmelia - what is to stop people going up to the flag and why can't you walk anymore?

The council has closed off the pathway up to the flag - but I suppose if you were determined enough, you could always walk up another way. I think if I remember, it's to let the area recover from environmental damage and all the rubbish, etc.

Rumour was that anyone flouting the law would be lined up on the promenade at dawn and flogged with wild nettles to deter would be Trespassers. :lol:
