Istanbul will have to wait until next year

Postby dksbbs » 27 Apr 2013 16:24

In October I turn the big 50, my initial plan was to send a 5 nights in Istanbul with my wife but then I got speaking to John and he suggested that I spend two nights in Istanbul, then fly to Dalaman and have 6 nights in Icmeler for less cost, and where better to celebrate my 50th than Icmeler.

I totally agree with his reasoning and this was what we were going to do just sorting our leave from work and checking that we could afford a second visit which this week we confirmed, unfortunatley my youngest wants to see Istanbul as well so we have decided to postpone Istanbul to next year and attach it to our main holiday so instead I have just booked flights in the last 20 minutes direct to Dalaman for 8 nights just the wife and I.

So I have a countdown of 93 days to our main family holiday on the 29th July and when we return we only have to wait another 49 days until our return.

2 lots of Holibobs to Icmeler in one year, thats a first for me,

Will look at available accomadation on ICR tomorrow and get something booked up with transfer,
