Icmeler Dogs Home Donations

Postby JT » 23 Apr 2013 09:15

Last year we at ICR matched donations that were dropped into our office for the dogs home

I think last year it was 500 lira or so, not sure as I don't have the figures in front of me.

This year there has been quite a few people mailing me and asking are we doing the same and the answer is no, not the same

Please keep popping in with your donations and of course your treats for the dogs and they will be passed onto Jan at one of her table sales which she organises once a fortnight in Icmeler so don't forget to go and say hello

This year we want as many people to come and book excursions from us and we will donate at the end of the season 30p for every ticket sold

Ok it may not look a lot on paper but 1 lira for every ticket sold throughout the season should with your help amount to a good few lira to help keep the dogs home running through the winter

We look forward to meeting you in our office in Icmeler

p.s this includes bookings already made before todays date

I know they are desperate for donations at the moment, and every little helps, as they say...so please, if you can help the dogs' home in any way, they will be very, very grateful!

Nice one ICR! No matter how big or small the amount it all helps and I'm sure the dogs will be very grateful.

Awwwwww, that's really nice to know that you are helping them.

I only found out about the dogs home the last week of my holiday this year...and went to visit them twice and walked some of the dogs......
It just tears my heart out to see them....they are REALLY HEALTHY and WELL LOOKED AFTER....and I know how much happier they are to be taken in off the streets.......bless them....
BUT I cant help feeling so sad that they all dont have a loving home of their own... :( :? .

I sent a donation of £20.00 yesterday to their Paypal account...and will be setting up a monthly direct debit to them.

Janet and the rest of the staff are doing a wonderful job and they need all the support (volunteers to walk the dogs) and donations they can get.

Going back in September and will be walking to dogs again and taking them some treats etc....

Hi Caryl, I'm glad you found the dogs home, it is certainly a wonderful place and the dogs love going out. As you said they need donations as there are alot of dogs to take care of. I have been going there from the start about 4 years ago and i raise money each year by doing car boot sales and getting donations from my dog walking mates. Hopefully more people will find out about the place and go and see the dogs and take them out. Jan needs all the help she can get at the moment as she has broken her arm. For anyone who wants to donate you can find their paypal address on Facebook - Icmeler Animal Welfare. Wendy x

We popped around to Jans house the other day to give her some dod stuff that people had kindly left at the office along with some money and someone had just dropped of £40 and well done to them

Michelle has the list of names of people that have dropped stuff of and we will get it online soon

Jan is fighting a hard battle trying to keep the dogs safe and even with the broken arm was sorting out the next days sale for the home

Good work everyone
