I agree, I saw lots of good reviews on TA, I just would like to hear from any of the longstanding members here,no disrespect to any of the people on TA, but the opinions of this forum's members carries a lot of weight with me.

so true, heard in the past that TA reviews on some places were a little too bias.

I have been going to Icmeler since 1999 and have been eating at Majestic Restaurant every year for years. Last year we stayed at the apartments for the first time and had an amazing holiday. We had a really great room, nice size with balcony back and front. The rooms are basic but as you would expect for Turkey and self catering. They were clean and tidy and that is all we ask really. There are two pools and a lovely pool area. We never had trouble getting a seat around the pool and when the heat got a little much the shaded bar area gave much needed comfort. They are located in the old village with the most amazing views of the mountains. They are a 10 - 15 minute walk into town (all on the flat) but the apartments have their own bus for people eating at the majestic restaurant but also the dolmus stop literally outside the apartments really regularly. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for it to turn up. We did walk a few nights and my friend's son was on crutches and still managed the walk with ease. Like I said been going to Icmeler for years and always stay in different places but this year we are booked back at the majestic apartments in June and we are counting the days. I would confidently recommend these apartments if you don't mind being a little further out.

Thanks Yellowflower, That's really helpful to know, and to everyone who took the time to reply I really appreciate it.

Wifi is free at the bar area and you would probably get it from some of the rooms if not all
